We were immersed in inspiring lectures, lively discussions, creative challenges, and the forging of many new friendships.

🌍 This year’s participants represented 7 countries: Slovenia, Croatia, Poland, Slovakia, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Czechia. Together, we explored 4 cities: Ljubljana, Nova Gorica, and Celje in Slovenia, as well as Gorizia in Italy.

πŸ“– Over these 7 intense days, we delved into the important and often overlooked topic of sexual desire in literatureβ€”especially within the Central and Eastern European context. The participants rose to the challenge, imagining interpretations of literature through the lenses of literary tourism and digital humanities.

πŸŽ‰ The success of this summer school highlights the potential of such events in fostering communities and building knowledge. Thank you all for your enthusiasm and contributions. We can’t wait to see you in the next installment!
